Vive junto a su esposo y dos hijos mayores de edad, tanto su esposo como sus hijos trabajan en conjunto con Maribel. Ella posee un taller de marroquinería, en el cual se encargan de elaborar carteras y bolsos de cuero, los cuales comercializan en el centro de San Salvador, así mismo elaboran pedido hecho por clientes los cuales vende las carteras en el centro de Soyapango. Tanto Maribel como toda su familia son personas muy trabajadoras quienes siempre entregan su trabajo a tiempo, los cuales han salido adelante gracias a su esfuerzo. Maribel solicita un préstamo a través del cual pueda comprar mayor cantidad de hilo y cuero, por medio del cual pueda elaborar más carteras, y de esta manera mejorar sus ventas, lo cual es de mucha importancia para ella y toda su familia ya que es la única fuente de ingresos con la que cuentan.
