A loan of $1,200 helped pay to retain her calves.

Maria Auxiliadora's story

Maria Auxiliadora is 39 years old and a small producer who lives in the San Pablo subdivision of Nueva Guinea. Her family consists of her husband and their four children: Kenia (age 18 and a first year university student), Jessenia (age 16 and a fourth year student at a agro-technical high school), Jason (a first year high school student), and Miguel (age 10 and in the sixth grade).

Maria is requesting her sixth loan which she will use to retain her calves, since she does not have enough money to cover their current price. She hopes that within the next few months she will achieve her desired results and sell them at a good price so that she can improve her family’s living conditions.

Her greatest wish is consolidate her cattle herd in order to build up an inheritance to leave to her children. She wants them to finish their studies so that they will develop into good people in the future.
