Rehema is 24 years old and single; she resides in Kibaoni-Malindi. She is a tailor by profession and use of this training has been her main source of income. She normally makes designs and sews clothes for a fee and this earns her a monthly profit of Kshs 4,000. Her customers are mainly parents with school going children in the area.
Rehema was introduced to Kadet by an existing member and this is her first loan. She plans to us the payments from this loan to buy materials/fabric for school uniforms at a price of Kshs 8,000, other more stylish materials for Kshs 5,000, and to pay for transport and miscellaneous expenses with Kshs 2,000. The extra income she anticipates to get from this loan will be used to buy a plot and build her own tailoring shop and rental rooms.
Rehema hopes to see her business grow and she believes she is a hardworking woman.
