Sorie K. is a trader who sells sticks and firewood (used for cooking). He own a boat which he used to purchase the wood and sticks from an island. Sorie is married with children, two of whom are in school while the youngest is just a baby.
He has 10 dependents who reside with and they usually help him in the business. He has been in this business for over 10 years.
He was a client under the solidarity group structure with good repayment history. He is therefore seeking for a loan which he will use to buy more sticks. He hopes to use proceeds from the business to build a house and cater to his children and dependents.
