The Benkadi group, which belongs to the Badenya association, is made up of nine married woman from the town of Tominian, in Ségou, the fourth administrative region of the Republic of Mali. The members of the Benkadi group, who average 36 years of age and have an average of four children each, live in large extended traditional families and met each other through neighbors and relatives.

They carry out more or less the same activity, that is the sale of a variety of products such as food condiments, the niche of Angelle D.. The latter is, notably, specialised in the sale of all sorts of condiments. She found a solution to satisfy customer needs which are constantly increasing, by joining the microfinance institution, Soro Yiriwaso. She gets her supplies wholesale in San to resell on a retail basis in Tominian. Angelle plans to use her loan to buy 50 packs of Maggi stock cubes, 12 bags of kitchen salt, 30 boxes of tomato concentrate, two packets of pepper and 20kg of garlic.

She makes 12,500 FCFA of profit a month which will be used to expand her business.

Le groupe Benkadi de l’association Badenya est composé de 9 femmes mariées de la ville de Tominian, région de Ségou, quatrième région administrative de la république du Mali. Les membres du groupe Benkadi qui ont en moyenne 36 ans et 4 enfants, vivent dans des grandes familles traditionnelles élargies et se sont connues à travers le voisinage, la parenté.
Elles exercent presque la même activité, à savoir la vente d’articles divers tels les condiments alimentaires, créneau de Angèle D..
Angèle D. s’est spécialisée dans la vente de condiments de toutes sortes.
Afin de satisfaire le besoin de sa clientèle qui ne cesse d’augmenter, elle a trouvé une solution, en intégrant l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso. Elle s’approvisionne en gros à San pour revendre en détail à Tominian
Angèle compte utiliser son prêt pour acheter, 50 paquets de maggi, 12 sacs de sel de cuisine, 30 boîtes de concentrées de tomate, 2 paquets de poivres, 20 kg de l’ail.
Elle réalise 12.500FCFA de bénéfice par mois qui sera utilisé pour agrandir son entreprise.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients.
