The “Santa Librada” commitee was formed by several neighbors in the Santa Librada neighborhood of the city of Villarrica. All the committee members engage in independent activities as artisans, small business owners, dressmakers, etc.

AsiD. from working on their committee activities, the members are mothers who do various jobs with the goal of improving their households' economic standing and developing their businesses in a sustainable manner and with a view to constant growth, with the help of some permanent assistance.

The committee chair is Calixta Zoraida G., 51, who is married to Silvio Benítez, 55. They have two children, an 18-year-old son who is a student and Gabriela Benítez, a 25-year-old who has worked as a radiology technician for two years. She lives in the Santa Librada neighborhood of Villarrica.

Calixta is a very active woman. For six years she has worked as a businesswoman selling various items. Calixta is a woman who collaborates with others, who helps her community. She is very supportive; with her help many women were able to have access to loans, as well as training on various aspects of business planning.

She asked for these loans for the purchase of handcrafts, charcoal, and uniforms, which will be sold in businesses in the city. It should be pointed out that the products she buys are maD. by the families of the women belonging to this committee.

El comité “Santa Librada” se formó con la unión varias vecinas del Barrio Santa Librada D. la ciudad D. Villarrica. Todas las integrantes del comité desarrollan actividades independientes, como son las Artesanías, Pequeños comercios, costuras, etc.
Las integrantes ademaás D. trabajar en sus actividades del comité son madres que se dedican a varios trabajos con el fin D. fortalecer la economía D. la casa y desarrollar sus emprendimientos D. manera sustentable y con vistas a un crecimiento constante, con la ayuda D. una asistencia permanente.
