Svitlana is married with two children. She is a farmer from Vinogradovo, in the Kherson region. Svitlana owns several greenhouses and grows produce, such as cabbage, squash, peppers and cauliflower. Svitlana has been in this business for 5 years. Growing up in the mostly agricultural Kherson region, she learned many important things related to farming. This year Svitlana has invested 10,000 UAH in her business.
Svitlana is seeking a 5,000 UAH loan to purchase a drip irrigation unit for her greenhouses, 500 meters of polyethylene film, 400 kg of nitrate fertilizer and 250 kg of ammonium saltpeter. She believes the current loan will help her improve conditions in her greenhouses thus ensuring richer harvests and a higher income.
