The group Parissi of the association Dori is composed of married women from the city of Tominian, region of Ségou (4th administrative region of the Republic of Mali).  The women live in traditional extended families, average 26 years of age, and have least four children.  The women buy and sell a variety of goods, such as peanuts, condiments, beverages, etc. The group members are on their second solidarity loan after having repaid the first one. 

Sara D., who is the president of the group, works in the area of foodstuff by buying and selling beverages.  She is the sales representative of the Bramali Company (brewery of Mali) in Tominian.  She has been selling all kinds of drinks for about ten years.  She intends to use her loan for buying cases of soft drinks from the Company, which produces beverages.  Generally accepting cash, she resupplies retailers and the villages surrounding Tominian.

Sara envisions making a profit of 21,000 francs CFA per month that will be used to expand her enterprise.

Le groupe Parissi de l’association Dori est composé de femmes mariées de la ville de Tominian, région de Ségou, quatrième région administrative de la république du Mali, qui vivent dans des familles traditionnelles élargies. Elles ont en moyenne 26 ans, au moins 4 enfants et font l’achat et la vente de d’articles divers tels l’arachide, les condiments alimentaires, les boissons etc.
Ce groupe est à son deuxième prêt solidaire après avoir bien remboursé le premier.
Sara D. qui la présidente du groupe Parissi évolue dans l’alimentaire avec l’achat et la vente de boissons. Elle est la représentante de la société Bramali (brasserie du Mali) à Tominian. Elle vend toutes sortes de boissons et cela il y'a environ 10 ans.
Elle compte utiliser son prêt pour acheter, des casiers de sucreries auprès de sa Société qui produit des boissons. Elle ravitaille les revendeurs et les petits villages environnants de Tominian au comptant très généralement.
Sara envisage réaliser un bénéfice de 21.000FCFA par mois qui sera utilisé pour agrandir l’entreprise.

Soro Yiriwaso is a microfinance institution that works primarily in rural and semi-urban areas of Mali to provide underprivileged communities with access to financial services.The organization facilitates access for disadvantaged clients, particularly women, to new resources and services, fostering solidarity and cooperation among its clients. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee.
