Mrs. Kadia D. is a divorced lady who is 36 years old and mother to two children. She lives with one of her children at her older brother's house in the Hérémakono Nord district of Bougouni (third administrative region of the Republic of Mali).

She gets her supplies from wholesalers in Bamako (the capital of the Republic of Mali). She sends her articles to the Republic of the Ivory Coast, where they are sold, mainly for cash to a customer base made up of Malian nationals.

With this loan she envisages making a monthly profit of 65,000 FCFA which will be used to expand her business.

Madame Kadia n’a pas eu la chance de fréquenter l’école moderne et s’intéressa très tôt aux activités génératrices de revenus. Après avoir tenté plusieurs activités sans succès, elle finit par opter pour le domaine de l’habillement avec l’achat et la vente de bazins.
Avec une expérience de 4 ans, elle maîtrise cette activité et dans laquelle elle est très sollicitée.
Dans la souci de satisfaire sa clientèle de plus en plus nombreuse, elle décida de collaborer avec l’institution de microfinance. Elle est à son deuxième prêt individuel après avoir correctement remboursé le précédent.
Elle s’approvisionne à Bamako (la capitale de la république du Mali) auprès des grossistes. Elle envoie ses articles en République de la Côte d’Ivoire où ils sont vendus, essentiellement au comptant à une clientèle composée de ressortissants Maliens.
Elle envisage réaliser avec ce prêt, un bénéfice mensuel de 65.000 FCFA qui sera utilisé pour agrandir son entreprise.
