Tanto pan francés, nombre el cual se le da al pan baguette en este país, como también pan dulce, es el que Mario junto a su familia elaboran día con día. Este pan también es comercializado a domicilio con muchos clientes los cuales compran por mayor para abastecer sus tiendas. Mario solicita un préstamo a través del cual pueda contar con el dinero necesario para comprar harina por mayor, huevos, manteca, levadura, y otros instrumentos más los cuales son necesarios para hornear el pan.
