Alice, age 33, sells waste garments to earn a living and to keep the environment clean. She buys waste garments from a factory and sells them to retailers in the local market for recycling. She has been in the business since 2008 and hopes to increase her profits in the future. She has been saving her money with her group in Faulu Kenya called 'Weep Not,' which guarantees loans to its members. She has requested a loan of kes 20,000 from Faulu Kenya to buy more garments and a sewing machine.
