Robatina is a 28-year-old single lady. She has been running a hair salon for three years. She also earns extra income from her food kiosk. She uses part of her income to pay her two employees.
She is a member of Faulu Kenya with the Machakos Mwangaza group, where she saves her money. Being a member of the group, she has an advantage because she can get a loan from Faulu Kenya since the members are her guarantors.
She plans to take a loan of 60,000 Kenyan shillings to buy more plastic chairs for her salon and a hair blow dryer. She hopes to cut the cost of renting a business premises by buying a plot of land to build her business. She dreams of expanding the business and employing more people.
