Rosario del Pilar assumes the role of President, and at 39 years old is married with 1 school-aged child. For 10 years she has sold clothes. She began this business because, at 29, she left the land of her birth and moved to the north of the country without having a job. With the force of her work she has managed to educate her daughter and her always supported her family. Her earnings cover the food costs, clothes, and school fees. Rosario's big dream is to have her own stall in the market. This loan is destined for the purchase of clothing for her business. All of our members are thankful for the support given by the investors and promise to pay within the agreed terms.

Desde hace 10 años se dedica a la venta de ropa, se inicio en este negocio porque a los 29 años, dejo su tierra natal, ya que Rosario es del norte del país y no contaba con un trabajo, con el esfuerzo de su labor diaria ha logrado la educación de su hija y siempre ha apoyado a su familia, sus ingresos cubren los gastos de alimentación, ropa y pensión del colegio. El gran sueño de Rosario es tener su propio puesto en el mercado, el reciente préstamo será destinado para la compra de mercadería de su negocio, todos nuestros socios agradecen el apoyo brindado de los inversionistas y se comprometen a pagar en los plazos pactados.

EDAPROSPO seeks to use micro-credit to foster productive commercial activity for the sake of economic and social development within vulnerable urban and rural sectors traditionally neglected by commercial banks. By offering innovative products such as technical education loans and microfinance groups for young people, EDAPROSPO helps disadvantaged Peruvians lift themselves out of poverty.

This is a Group Loan

In a group loan, each member of the group receives an individual loan but is part of a larger group of individuals. The group is there to provide support to the members and to provide a system of peer pressure, but groups may or may not be formally bound by a group guarantee. In cases where there is a group guarantee, members of the group are responsible for paying back the loans of their fellow group members in the case of delinquency or default.
