Catalina is a client who has already participated in two loan cylces with Kiva field partner Emprender. With the prior two loans, she demonstrated responsibility by never having a problem making loan payments. Catalina sells baby apparel, diapers and clothing hangers. Her stall is located in the 16 de Julio street market, the most populous of all, where you can find any and all types of merchandise for sale. She is open every day. Her shop is busiest Thursdays and Sundays, the days when the market is busiest. She also sells childern's clothing.
Catalina has two young children who are in school. Her husband Milton is a supervisor for the Suma Pacha Company. The loan will be largely invested in the purchase of clothing for infants and children. Catlin is very grateful to Kiva and partner Emprender for the confidence she has received by being granted this opportunity.
