Samer is a 25-year-old single man living with his parents and three brothers. He started his business by selling electricA. equipment from his home. In 2008, he then rented a small shop to display his electricA. products. Now he also sells electricA. tools and home electricA. products. He works with his father and brothers to satisfy the family's needs.
Samer is now requesting a loan of $1,200 to purchase more products so he can offer a wider variety to his clients. He has informed the Loan Officer that he's planning to open a larger shop in the future and he's working hard to get to this point.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
