Boniface, a 47-year-old father of five, has been making furniture cushions for 14 years and also farms for extra income. Boniface is a hardworking man who strives to meet his family’s needs, including educating his five children. A member of Faulu Kenya, he has benefited by accessing loans to expand his business. Boniface now plans to buy a pickup truck for transporting his products to his clients and is therefore requesting a loan of Kes. 40,000 from Faulu Kenya to top up his savings. He hopes to open up his own furniture company in the future and also dreams of buying a lorry for supplying his products in five years.
