The Diamantes (Diamonds) Communal Bank is in their fifth cycle. It is comprised of nine members, seven women and two men. Most of the members live in the Kupini Zone, which is located in the area surrounding the bus stop for line 16. The members sell various products like clothes, notebooks, cosmetics, and carpentry, etc.

In the last cycle everyone paid except for two members whose payments were in arrears. They were removed from the bank, and the rest of the members paid without delay. Only four members remained, and the rest of the members are new.

Bertha represents the bank, and she is currently the president. She has been buying and selling autos for seven years. She also acts as an independent taxi driver. The loan is to fix her vehicle. She is a widow with two children. She knew how to get her children ahead through her work. She has stood out in her communal bank as a responsible person who is punctual with her payments.

Laura is the treasurer of the bank. She sells school materials in a bookstore, which is located at the stop for bus line 16. She has been doing this for one year. The loan is to buy school materials wholesale. She is married to Valentin, who works at the bus terminal. They have two school-age children. She was elected as a representative of her communal bank because she is responsible. She has demonstrated this to her colleagues for two cycles, and she will do so again.

Rocío was elected as the secretary. She sells domestic appliances and other devices at fairs. On other days she sells in the central zone of the city of La Paz. She is married to Boris, a driver. The loan is to buy merchandise.

All of the members are responsible and hard-working. They are grateful to Emprender and Kiva for the confidence shown in granting the loan.

El Banco comunal DIAMANTES, en su Secuencia 5, está formado por 9 clientes, 7 mujeres y 2 varones, la mayoría de las socias pertenecen a la Zona de Kupini, que están ubicados en los alrededores de la parada de microbuses de la línea 16. Las socias se dedican a la venta de diversos productos como ser, de ropa libros cuadernos cosméticos, carpintería, etc. En la secuencia anterior todas cancelaron a excepción de dos socias que pagaron con atrasos, las cuales fueron retiradas del banco, las demás socias cancelaron sin retrasos y solo se quedaron 4 socias, las demás son integrantes nuevas.

La Sra. Bertha Es la representante, actualmente toma el cargo de la presidenta del banco se dedica a la compra y venta de autos, cuenta con esta actividad hace 7 años, también trabaja como chofer de taxi de manera independiente, el préstamo será destinado para el arreglo de su movilidad. Viuda cuenta con 2 hijos a los que supo sacar adelante con su trabajo, En su banco comunal se ha destacado como una persona responsable y puntual en sus pagos.

La Sra. Laura Socia que asume el cargo de tesorera del banco, se dedica a la venta de material escolar en una librería ubicada por la parada del micro 16, se dedica a esta actividad hace 1 año, el préstamo esta destinado a la compra de material escolar por mayor. Casada con el señor Valentin que trabaja en la Terminal de buses, tiene 2 hijos que se encuentran en edad escolar. Es una de las representantes en su banco comunal, que ha sido elegida para el cargo por su responsabilidad que ha demostrado con sus compañeras hace dos ciclos atrás y retorna nuevamente.

La Sra. Rocío es elegida como secretaria , se dedica a la venta de electrodomésticos y otros artefactos en las ferias y otros días por la zona central de la ciudad de La Paz, casada con el señor Boris que es chofer.
El préstamo esta destinado para la compra de mercadería.

Todas las socias son personas responsables y trabajadoras, estan muy agradecidas con Emprender y Kiva por la confianza brindada en la otorgacion del credito.
