The LUCIANA communal bank is in its second loan cycle; it’s maD. up of 10 members, all women, who are neighbors in the San Antonio neighborhood (some live in Villa Copacabana). Some members sell cosmetics, others prepared meals, some are children’s party planners, others are beauticians. They repaid their previous loan on time. This cycle also included mourning for one of the members who died during this cycle.

Carmen is the group representative and bank president. She is a medical therapist providing services both in customers’ homes and in clinics she’s associated with; she has been in this line of work for 5 years. She also sells cosmetics. She is single, has no children and rents with her relatives. She is responsible and punctual with her repayments.

She will use the loan to buy medical equipment.

Pamela is group treasurer. She sells clothing and cosmetics in various places like institutions; she has been in this line of work for 2 years. She is single and has no children; she rents with her parents and siblings. She was elected to this post because of the responsibility she has shown in the communal bank as guarantor and as a group member.

She will use the funds to buy stock merchandise.

Soledad is group secretary. She sells different brands of cosmetics and is also an expeditor.

She will use the funds to buy cosmetics.

All the group members are responsible, dynamic people who are very grateful to Emprender and to Kiva for the trust placed in them in granting the loan.

El Banco comunal LUCIANA, en su Secuencia 2, está formado por 10 clientes, todas mujeres, la mayoría D. las socias pertenecen a la Zona D. San Antonio, y algunas socias que viven en la zona D. Villa Copacabana, las socias se dedican a la venta D. cosméticos, venta D. comida, atención D. eventos infantiles, tratamientos D. belleza. En la secuencia anterior todas cancelaron bien. También se lamento el fallecimiento D. una socia en el transcurso del ciclo.

La Sra. Pamela Socia que asume el cargo D. tesorera del banco, se dedica a la venta D. ropa y cosméticos en diferentes lugares ya sea en instituciones se dedica a esta actividad hace 2 años, el préstamo esta destinado a la inversión D. capital. Soltera sin hijos, vive en alquiler con sus padres y sus hermanos.
Ha sido elegida para el cargo por su responsabilidad que ha demostrado dentro del banco como garante y como compañera D. grupo.

La Sra. Soledad, Ha sido elegida como secretaria , se dedica a la venta D. cosméticos D. diferentes Empresas, también es procuradora (tramitadora). El préstamo esta destinado para la inversión D. capital en cosméticos.

Todas las socias son personas responsables y dinamicas y estan muy agradecidas con Emprender y Kiva por la confianza brindada en la otorgacion del credito.
