Yoy M., 28, is married and resides with her husband and two children in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia, an area known for fishing and palm products. She is a housewife, while her husband is a taxi driver who operates transportation from his province to the city, earning an income of about USD 25 per day.
M. is requesting a loan of USD 700 to purchase a new car to attract more clients to his service. In the future, she would like to use any additional profits to pay for the children’s schooling. This is her second loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia. (M.'s husband is pictured.)
KREDIT Ltd. is one of Kiva’s most established partners in Southeast Asia. The organization empowers the economically-active poor and small entrepreneurs by providing inclusive financial services.
