Chhem S. is married and resides with her husband and five children in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia, an area known for fishing and palm products. She has a business of tailoring, which provides an income of about USD 2.00 per day. Her husband runs a business of cleaning cars and motorbikes, earning an income of USD 13.00 per day.
S. is requesting a loan of USD 1200 to build a bigger place to clean the cars and motorbikes. In the future, she would like to use any additional profits to pay for the children’s schooling. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a long-standing Kiva partner in Cambodia.
