Akou is 40 years old and since 2000 she has been a seamstress with her own workshop that she opened in Vakpossito, a suburb of Lomé. To increase her income, she expanded her business to sell Bazin fabrics, which she sometimes hangs outside of her workshop to attract customers. The sale of Bazin fabrics has been successful and she would like to grow that part of her business. For this reason she is requesting a loan from WAGES to purchase 15 pieces of high-quality Bazin fabric.
