Hab M., age 50, is married and resides with her children in Kampong Chnang Province, Cambodia. She has six children and stays at home as a housewife to look after the children and do household chores.
Her husband (pictured) raises ducks and chickens for sale, earning an income of 1.25 USD per day. Their standard of living has been improved since her husband has had this business. The family is also assisted by three of her children who are currently employed at different workplaces.
Hab M. is requesting a loan of 1,000 USD to purchase a plot of farmland to expand their agricultural output for a better income for the family. This is her first loan from CREDIT, Kiva’s partner.
