Chourb R., age 28, is married and resides with his children in Takeo province, Cambodia. He has three children. He is engaged in the agriculture sector of grinding rice for sale, earning an income of 3 USD per day to help cover the family expenses. His wife (pictured) is engaged in a business of weaving Cambodian traditional products, earning an income of 2 USD per day.
Their standard of living has been improved since they have had these businesses. R. is requesting a loan of 800 USD to purchase more raw silk to produce more silk products for sale. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a partner of Kiva.
