Hum S., age 29, is married and resides with her child in Daoun Keo District, Takeo province, Cambodia. She has a young child. She is engaged in the business of selling various kinds of groceries at home in her village, earning an income of USD 6 per day to help cover the family expenses. The family is also assisted by her husband who always helps his wife in the business. Their standard of living has improved since they have had this business. S. is requesting a loan of 700 USD to purchase a machine to cut firewood and pigs to raise for sale. This is her first loan from CREDIT, a partner of Kiva.
