Zipporah is a 48-year-old mother of four sons and two daughters between the ages of 7 and 31. Zipporah has been selling clothes for the past 30 years. She describes herself as a very hardworking businesswoman.
Zipporah has been able to bring up her children single-handedly. She was introduced to KADET through marketing outreach in Thika town, her home area. She says that she has benefited from KADET and was able to acquire a motorcycle through a KADET asset loan which her son uses to offer transport services and support his family. She plans to purchase more clothes stock with the loan she has applied for. She is servicing her fifth loan with KADET. Zipporah intends to buy a piece of land with the extra profit generated from the business. Her hopes and dreams are to buy a piece of land and build her own house.
