A loan of $525 helped cost of relocating her business to a new location.

Luzmila Violeta's story

Luzmila is 40 years old, divorced, and has two children who are still in school. She lives in the Macabi Alto sector of the district of Paiján, located in the province of Ascope in the La Libertad region and two and a half hours from the city of Chiclayo, capital of the Lambayeque region.

Her separation from her husband caused her to look for a means of generating income in order to get by. She had the opportunity to pull together a little capital that she used to buy vegetables which she then offered for sale to her neighbors. This happened 4 years ago, and since then her business has been growing thanks to her efforts. Today, she has a store in which she stocks all types of basic supplies, groceries, vegetables, and fresh meat.

In addition to this, she also has some cows which provide milk that she also sells. These businesses provide her with income to keep her family solvent, and for this reason she works hard every day, offering her customers friendly service and the products that they need. She wishes to move her business to a new part of her home, and for this sees the necessity of requesting a loan from Edpyme Alternativa which will help her to achieve her objective.

Luzmila is a hardworking woman who has succeeded despite the difficulties of bringing up her children alone. She has already worked with our institution in the past and has shown her self to be punctual and responsible in paying back her loans.
