Chathurika is a 28-year-old married woman living in the town of Yakabadda, Sri Lanka with her two children.
Chathurika helps her husband in managing a floral shop that he owns. She uses the income from the family business to help support daily living expenses.
They have managed this shop for eight years now, and provide employment for two men in the village. Chathurika is known as a very honest and hardworking woman who is willing to help others in her community when needed.
Chathurika is seeking a 50,000 LKR loan from BRAC to improve her husband's floral business.
