Purificación is a widow and has four children. Two of them are already married and the other two are still in school. The family lives in the Fatima neighborhood of Ciudad del Este, Paraguay.

Purificación owns a small but well-stocked grocery store in her neighborhood. It is in a good location, just a block from a public university. She began her business several years ago with just a few products and has increased her stock of merchandise bit by bit over the years. Today she sells a large variety of products at good prices and has a steady base of customers. Thanks to her hard work and the help provided to her by her children, who are also very hard-working, she is able to provide for her family.

Purificación is asking for this loan to buy merchandise that she needs for her store, such as sugar, pasta, cooking oil and other products.
