This committee was established by Sra. Elvira M., of the Santa Ana neighborhood in Ciudad del Este, who contacted neighbors and friends to help her start it. The committee, called Menta Positiva (Positive Mind), has 20 members, women from the neighborhood who are active and supportive partners for one another. The members make their living in different ways, some will start new businesses and they depend on fixed incomes. One of the members who started a business after joining the committee is Elvira. She opened an office/school supply store with her first loan. The business has grown a lot since she launched it and she is very happy with her progress. This loan will be used to buy products for resell: notebooks and other school supplies.

Para la formación del comité inició la señora Elvira M., quien vive en el barrio Santa Ana Ciudad Del Este, ella contacto con sus vecinas y amigas para formar el comité en la zona.
El comité se denomina “Menta Positiva”, está constituido por 20 señoras muy activas y solidarias todas de la misma zona. Ellas tienen actividades diferentes algunas emprenderán una nueva labor y cuentan con un ingreso fijo.
Una de las señoras quin comenzó una actividad comercial luego de integrarse al comité es la señora Elvira M..
Ella abrió una librería con el primer crédito que recibió, actualmente ha crecido mucho su negocio y ella esta muy contenta y satisfecha con el trabajo que realizan entre compañeras.
El crédito fue utilizado para la compra de mercaderías como cuaderno, cartucheras escolares, diversos útiles escolares y otros.
