Adnan is a 50-year-old married man who has three children. He has been working in a networking occupation for the past 10 years during the time when this occupation became well known and required in Lebanon. After getting good experience, he decided in 2009 to open his own networking business and start performing internet connections to his town and its surroundings.
Today, Adnan is asking for a loan of $1,200 to purchase an additional internet machine to improve his business and increase his family income and his living situation.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
