Richard is a 34-year-old married man with two school-aged children. He is a humble, hardworking man who is employed and also has a business selling clothes. He has been running this business for nine years and uses part of his profits to pay his seven employees. He was previously earning his living by farming.
Richard appreciates Kiva partner, Faulu Kenya, for giving him a loan to help buy a property. He has now requested a new loan of 70,000 KES to buy clothes to add to his shop's stock. He dreams of owning ten other outlets in the future.
