The July 25th Communal Association is one of the oldest groups from the Santiago Community Center. They are already on their 27th loan cycle. The different businesses of the members are as follows: sewing, selling stockings, carpentry, handicrafts, interior design, shoe sales, bread, and dinnerware.


Juana A. C., the President of the group, has been working with Pro Mujer since 1997. She remembers with nostalgia that the training process was long back when they used to meet at the town square in the Santiago II District. Her first loan was for 500 BOB, back when everything was new and Pro Mujer was still a young organization. Sra. Juana currently has a business buying and selling shoes. Over the years, she has had loans of different amount based on her needs. She is currently asking for 2000 BOB.


On a personal note, she references her six children. She became a widow a few years ago, so she has to work with greater energy.

La Asociación Comunal “25 de Julio” es una de las más antiguas del Centro Focal de Santiago, ya esta en su ciclo Nº 27 . Los negocios de las socias son diferentes: costura, venta de medias, carpintería, artesanìa, comerciante de Interiores, venta de calzados, ropa, pan y vajilla.
La Presidenta Juana A. C., refiere que se encuentra trabajando en Pro Mujer desde el año 1997. Comenta con nostalgia que el proceso de capacitación fue largo, utilizaban la plaza de la zona de Santiago II para reunirese, su primer crédito fue de Bs.500.- en ese entonces todo era nuevo y Pro Mujer estaba aún muy jóven. La señora Juana actualmente tiene negocio de compra - venta de calzado, durante estos años a tenido crédito por diferentes montos de acuerdo a sus necesidades, actualmente está solicitando Bs. 2000.-.
En lo personal ella refiere que tiene 6 hijos y que hace unos años quedó viuda, razón por la cual debe trabajar con mayor energía.
