Modieré Dite Mamba
Ms. Modieré, who goes by the name of Mamba D., is a 35-year-old married women and the mother of four children. She lives with her husband and children in the Hérémakono-Centre district of Bougouni (3rd administrative region of the Republic of Mali). Bestowed with a medical degree, Mamba spent a few years in a clinic but ultimately became specialized in buying and selling pharmaceutical products at a pharmacy located in the Dilanikoro district of Bougouni. With five years of experience, she has a command of her business. She is in high demand and much appreciated in and around Bougouni.

Concerned about satisfying her clearly-growing customer base, she decided to join the loan program of the micro-finance institution Soro Yiriwaso and is now on her first individual loan. She intends to use this loan for buying a major quantity of products called D.C.I. (that is, generic products) in Bougouni. She makes her sales in her pharmacy to customers composed of the entire local population.

Mamba envisions making a monthly profit of 45,000 francs CFA that will enable her to improve her pharmacy and to cover the Soro Yiriwaso loan interest.

Madame Modieré dite Mamba D. est une femme mariée de 35 ans et mère de 4 enfants qui vit avec son époux et ses enfants dans le quartier Hérémakono-Centre de Bougouni (troisième région administrative de la république du Mali).
Nantie d’un diplôme de médecine de son état, Modieré a passé quelques années dans une clinique, mais finit par se spécialiser dans l’achat et la vente de produits pharmaceutiques au niveau d’une pharmacie sise au quartier Dilanikoro de Bougouni.
Avec 5 années d’expérience, elle maîtrise son activité et est très sollicitée et appréciée au niveau de Bougouni et environs.
Dans le souci de satisfaire sa clientèle en nette croissance, elle décide d’intégrer le programme crédit de l’institution de microfinance Soro Yiriwaso avec qui elle est à son premier prêt individuel.
Elle compte utiliser ce prêt pour acheter, une importante quantité de produits appelés D.C.I. (c’est à dire des produits génériques), à Bougouni et effectuent sa vente dans sa pharmacie à une clientèle composée de toute la population locale.
Elle envisage réaliser un bénéfice mensuel de 45 000 FCFA qui lui permettra de d’améliorer sa pharmacie et payer les intérêts du prêt de Soro Yiriwaso.
