Catalina was previously granted a preferential rate which made it possible for her to invest and repay on time. She has woven and knit vicuña wool blankets for more than 20 years. She usually buys the wool in the R. fair that takes place in El Alto yearly. She needs funding ahead of time for this reason. She sells the blankets in the southern zone.
She lives with her two youngest children because her husband travels constantly and it is she who supports them; she also must care for a sick child.
Desite these expenses, she makes her monthly payments on time because she earns enough in her monthly sales to do so.
She will use the funds to buy wool for her blankets at wholesale.
She is very grateful to Emprender and Kiva for the trust placed in her by granting the loan.
