Having fully repaid their first loan, the women of the group Benkadi are requesting their second group loan, which they will use to purchase 3 tons of dried cereals (fonio (a millet-like grain), small millet, corn) and a large quantity of food condiments. They mostly supply themselves locally from farmers and then the women sell their products in the market, usually for cash, to a clientele composed of men and women.
They envision each earning an average monthly income of 15,000FCFA, which they will use to pay for the needs of their families and invest the remainder in their businesses.
