La asociación comunal Esmeralda se encuentra el el ciclo Nº14, es decir que ya tiene como siete años formando parte del Centro Focal de German Busch. Son once integrantes, 10 mujeres y un varon.
Los negocios de los integrantes de la asociación van desde venta de celulares, venta de comida, frituras (papas fritas), tejidos a máquina, venta de abarrotes, venta de ropa, artesanía en ropa, ropa, tejido de alfombras.

En el caso de la presidenta, la señora Margot G. de 40 años de edad, ella tiene el negocio de venta de celulares desde hace unos diez años. Cuando se le pregunta de cómo se animó a iniciar ese negocio, ella dice que era necesario, pues tenìa muchos hijos (4 varones y 2 mujeres).
