Larry is 33 years old. He has worked for MINSA Chontales for fifteen years as a driver. He has two daughters from his first marriage. Brittany is eight years old and Yatzari is five years old. They are in elementary and preschool respectively. Currently he lives with Mrs. Yessi who helps him with his home expenses. Previously Larry had a loan from KIVA that helped with the construction of a room for his daughters. Now he is asking for his sixth loan. He hopes to continue his relationship with KIVA. He would like to install tile at the entrance of his house. Currently the location has dirt. He would like a door for the living room in order to give his home more security. Since the couple both work during the day the house is empty during this time. Anyone could come to his house and rob it using some effort. He is thankful for the credit that they have financed. He has been able to improve the living conditions for his family. He hopes to continue progressing with the help of institutions such as KIVA and AFODENIC

About Housing Loans
Many poor families cannot afford housing that meets their needs. When you make a housing loan on Kiva, you give people access to flexible capital to obtain or improve their homes. Better housing means better health, sanitation, and even educational outcomes for children. A house can also be much more for entrepreneurs who run businesses out of their homes. In this way, housing and small business loans on Kiva share a common purpose: to alleviate poverty and enable families to enjoy more stable lives.
