Ella inicio este negocio porque anteriormente su Papa se dedica a atender la pulpería con el paso del tiempo el fallece y le hereda la pulpería, pues él no quería que todo el esfuerzo que había realizado se derrumbara fue así que Nidia empezó a hacerse cargo de este medio de vida. Ella tiene 1 hijo de 18 años que está a su cargo pues ella se preocupa en proporcionarle lo necesario. El financiamiento que solicita es para la compra de golosinas, refrescos naturales, jugos, pan, galletas, detergentes entre otras cosas. Ella sueña con establecer una tienda de mercadería en general.
