Den T., age 49, is married and resides with her husband in Takeo Province, Cambodia. She has three children. She is engaged in the business of weaving Cambodian traditional silk, earning approximately $4 per day. By doing so, she is able to cover her family expenses, especially the children’s education. She has been with this business since 2004. Her husband is a farmer, earning an income of $2 per day. The standard of living has been improved since T. began this business, so she wants to have a loan to expand her business.
T. is requesting a loan of $1,000 to purchase more silk. This is her first loan from CREDIT, partnered Kiva.
