Bernarda De Jesus
Bernarda is 61 years old. She sells general merchandise to some of her friends and neighbors, who are her customers. She started working 28 years ago because her husband did not help support the family. Bernarda began selling tortillas and little by little, with the help of a few loans, she began earning income. This helped her gain work experience, but her age does not allow her to continue making and selling tortillas because she suffers from rheumatism and tires easily, so she began selling general merchandise. She is requesting this loan so that she can buy shoes, dresses, t-shirts, shorts, skirts, bags, and perfumes. She hopes to one day have her own general store where she can offer a variety of products.
