Vincent is a 31-year-old father of four children who are in school. He had a shop, which he operated for one year before he started a water kiosk. He is employed with KK security services in Nairobi, where he earns 12,000 Kenyan shillings per month while his wife assists him in his business.
He has become an active member of Faulu Kenya, a Kiva partner, by saving money in the MFI (microfinance institution). He plans to buy a water tank at 40,000 shillings and a water booster at 10,000 shillings; hence, he has requested a loan of 50,000 shillings. He hopes to become financially stable by making more savings and generating more income. His dream is to have his own company in the future.
