San S. is 30 years old, married, and has three children. She lives with her husband in Takeo Province, Cambodia. Since 2009 she has been engaged in the agricultural sector of farming, earning approximately $1 USD per day. Through this business, she is able to cover her family expenses, especially the children’s education. The family's standard of living has improved since S. started her business.
S.'s husband is a recycler, earning an income of $3 USD per day. S. is now requesting a loan of $500 USD to expand her husband's business and purchase more recyclable materials for sale. This is her first loan from Kiva partner, CREDIT.
