Vat H., age 50, is married and resides with her husband in the Takeo Province of Cambodia. She has six children. She is engaged in the business of selling various kinds of groceries from home, earning an approximate income of 3 USD per day. By doing so, she is able to cover her family's expenses, especially for her children's education. She has been with this business since 2003. Her husband is a skillful fisherman, earning an income of 1 USD per day. Their standard of living has improved, since H. has been with this business. She wants a loan in order to expand her business. H. is requesting a loan of 1000 USD to purchase a motorbike with an attached compartment (tuk tuk). This is her first loan from CREDIT, a Kiva field partner. (H. is pictured with her husband in the photo.)
