Flor is applying for a loan in order to buy land so that she can plant crops on her own fields and obtain income to help her family and, above all, help with the education of her children. Her goal is to have a good business for her family. The challenges she faces are climate problems and sicknesses that affect her crops.

La socia es miembro de la ventanilla rural Calzado Solidario, es un recinto que se encuentra a quince minutos del Cantón San Miguel en la vía a la costa. Son 19 socios en total, los cuales la mayoría se dedican a la agricultura y la crianza de animales menores.

Trabaja en la agricultura para incrementar la economía de la familia. Los cultivos que más sobresalen son el maíz, papas y en pocas cantidades siembra legumbres. Vende los productos en la feria de San Miguel y vende en el mercado mayorista de la ciudad de Quito.

La cultura principal es el carnaval que se celebra todos los años en febrero y la fiesta del patrón San Miguel además aprovecha esta fiesta para reunirse con la familia.

La socia solicita el crédito para comprar terrenos para sembrar en tierras propias y obtener ingresos para ayudar a la familia sobre todo a los hijos en la educación. Su meta es tener una buena actividad económica para la familia. Los desafíos que enfrenta son los problemas climáticos y las enfermedades que afectan a los cultivos.
