Mrs. Pha Y. owns a general store in her village. She is a widow without children. No matter how hard she tries to work, she cannot earn enough income. In order to improve her living conditions, she decided to ask for a loan to buy more groceries to sell in order to expand her business.

This village bank includes 11 people who all live in Thmei village in Kandal province. Mrs. Pha Y. is the village bank president who has been selected by all the members. They will use their loan for different purposes.
