Julia Njeri
Julia is 30 years old and the mother of two sons. Her husband, Francis, is a pastor in one of the local churches. They live in Zambezi on the outskirts of Nairobi town. She operates her tailoring business from within and most of her customers are fellow villagers and the people who attend church together.

Julia opened this business in the year 2008 and, since then, she has been able to establish a network of customers. This has enabled her to have a steady income for her family. She has not borrowed elsewhere and this is her first loan with KADET. She was introduced to KADET by her friends who formed a group then joined KADET.

Julia plans to invest in her business by buying a sewing machine which will cost 26,000 Kenyan shillings (Kshs) and some material for 4,000 Kshs, so that she can meet her customer's needs and also increase her family's income.
