Adjo
Born in 1971 in Gapé, Togo, Mrs. Adjo B. is a seamstress. Married to a farmer who has difficulty supporting the family, she manages daily to come up with her share of financial input for their family’s needs.

Adjo is illiterate since she lacked the financial means to attend school. Instead, she became an apprentice. At the end of her apprenticeship and in view of her rather difficult situation, she has been obliged to rent a sewing machine to use in order to practice her trade.

With all this in mind, Adjo is asking for a loan of US$ 1000 which she plans to use to buy a sewing machine and set up a workshop where she can do her work in proper fashion. This will allow her to improve her socio-economic condition and live life more fully.
