A loan of $250 helped to stock her business.

Leticia's story

Leticia Castaneda Garcia has a stationery store called "Papeleria Angel". This business came into being because she wanted to be able to not leave her home, while still generating an income to help her husband with the expenses. The reason for not wanting to work outside of her house is that she has 3 children, one of whom is disabled, and he needs to be cared for with a lot of attention. Therefore, in this way she can avoid neglecting her son, and she doesn't have to pay another person to take care of him. The stationery store has been in business for a year, and little by little has been making progress. For this reason, Leticia wants to purchase more merchandise such as dolls for gifts, as well as stationery and school supplies.
