Soledad, age 33, is a single mother. She lives in her parents’ house, and they help take care of her young daughter. She started her business of selling clothes some years ago. She started with a small amount of capital that she got as a worker in a plant.

She already has a large number of customers. Besides offering them good prices and good service, she guarantees the merchandise that she sells.

She used the profits from this business to buy a “mototaxi” (three wheeled motorized vehicle) on credit. The mototaxi generates greater income.

Soledad dreams of giving her daughter and her parents decent living conditions in addition to having their own house. Soledad puts all of he earnings towards her school-age daughter’s education and towards supporting her parents.

Soledad tiene 33 años de edad, es madre soltera vive en casa de sus padres los cuales
le ayudan a cuidar a su menor hija, Ella inicio el negocio de venta de ropa hace
algunos años, con un pequeño capital producto del trabajo como obrera de planta. Ella
ya posee una gran cantidad de clientes a los cuales les brinda además de buenos
precios una buena atención y garantía en la mercadería que les vende, con los
excedentes obtenidos en esta labor adquirió a crédito una mototaxi la cual le
genera mayores ingresos. Soledad sueñan con brindarle a su hija y a sus padres una
condición de vida adecuada, además con tener su casa propia, Soledad destina todos los
ingresos para la educación de su hija ya que ella esta en edad escolar y la manutención de sus padres.
