Alexei is married with two daughters. He lives in Vodyanoye and owns two well-equipped greenhouses. Alexei grows early spring vegetables, i.e. tomatoes, radishes, etc. His wife and parents are actively helping him with this venture. Alexei has been in this business for six years. Presently, he has about 20,000 Grivnyas invested in this business. Alexei spends 9,000 to 12,000 Grivnyas on film and seeds every year.
Alexei is seeking a 10,000 Grivnya loan to purchase polyethylene film, seeds and fertilizers ahead of time. Prices for all these farming supplies go up in the spring, which is why Alexei made a far-sighted decision to plan to buy necessary inventory in winter. Alexei is hoping to make enough savings for construction of one more greenhouse next year.
